Craig Vandermause Joins GMR

"Battle of the Bay" veteran will lead West Coast business development

We're excited to announce that GMR has hired Craig Vandermause to lead our business development efforts on the West Coast. Having won new work with a number of Silicon Valley tech companies over the past year, our San Francisco office has grown significantly. Craig will use these successes to continue to scale GMR’s offering to innovative consumer and enterprise brands.

Craig comes to GMR from the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, where he held the position vice president of sales & marketing. While there, he led the organization’s sales, sponsorship, membership, programs & events and marketing divisions. He also held positions with the National Football League's Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions in the media relations, football operations and salary cap divisions for over a decade.

After his time in the NFL, Craig moved to the Bay Area where he has managed one of the region's most recognizable and successful annual charity events—the John Madden and Steve Mariucci “Battle of the Bay” Charity Bocce Tournament. Under his leadership over the past eleven years, the community fundraiser has, for the first time, brought together all six Bay Area professional sports teams to raise millions in support of vital youth organizations in the region.
