GMR’s Jimmy Bruns joins the class of 2017

GMR’s Jimmy Bruns has been recognized as one of the best and brightest executives under the age of 40 by SportsBusiness Journal. The publication’s Forty Under 40 Awards are an annual celebration of the best young talent in the sports business. 

Jimmy joined the GMR team in 2008 and currently holds the position of SVP of Client Services based in our Charlotte office. He manages the development and execution of new sports sponsorship strategies for several of GMR’s Fortune 100 clients, including Humana and Lowe’s. Jimmy is well respected within the industry for his leadership and work ethic, as well as his commitment to mentorship and giving back to those who are working to break into the field. 

“Jimmy is continuously thinking about what else he can do to add value for the client, for GMR or for his teammates. He is never satisfied with good enough and is willing to do the hard work needed to find the best possible solution,” says Cameron Wagner, EVP of Client Services.
