GMR CCO tapped for Milwaukee advertising leadership
The United Adworkers Board of Directors announced this month that GMR's Chief Creative Officer, Joe Sutter, has been named the 2016-18 United Adworkers President. United Adworkers is Milwaukee's fellowship of advertising enthusiasts, creatives, executives, directors, producers and all interested in the fine art of marketing and advertising.
Sutter accepted the nomination and publicly kicked off the new year at an event January 14th.
"I know I speak for the board when I say we’re honored to be keepers of the legacy and energized to take the club to new levels," he told a crowd of local talent at the Adworkers season kickoff event.
Sutter had previously served on the Adworkers Board of Directors, where he is joined by GMR's Aubrey Walker, Creative Director - Ideation. As GMR's Chief Creative Officer, Sutter oversees all of GMR’s creative functions, maintaining high standards of quality and inspiring creativity across the company. With the agency since 2003, Sutter's visionary thinking and creative imprint can be found in nearly all of the marquee programs emerging from GMR.
